So I walked in on a Sunday and asked for a table for 2 I also asked what’s the wait time and was told 15 minutes I understand that on sundays things can get hectic but how can you tell someone 15 minutes and have them wait almost over an hour. I’ve worked in the restaurant business so I understand a little but this is not the way you want to run a business. Worst IHOP I’ve been to.
They renovated the place, looks really nice! Wait wasn't so bad, but on their busiest days it is. When they have the free pancakes. No room to really stand, everyone's on top of each other. Too many kids and by kids I mean teens. Avoid this area on those days. Or go during school hours. Staff are very pleasant. With the renovation everything looks clean. Prices are great for what you get. I always get the Strawberry Banana French toast!
Best ihop in the whole north jersey,been to at least 6 different locations this is the best location I been to
Favorite IHOP in the Bergen/Essex county. They are open 24 hours and they have a great staff. And they recently made renovations, nice look and still spacious. Food is still good too.
I should have known better than to enter restaurant when there is a sign posted looking for a cook. There was a little late time but when we got seated nobody came over for good 20 minutes. When orders came in, my eggs that were supposed to be over-easy looked so runny that I couldn't even bring myself to put that in my mouth. The waitress was nice but that did not help the quality of food I was about to eat.
